Reno Omokri Attacks Buhari Again Over Fresh Zamfara Killing

Reno Omokri, a former media aide to former president Goodluck Jonathan has lambasted President Muhammadu Buhari, for not reacting to fresh killing in Zamfara state.

According to reports, gunmen suspected of belonging to gangs involved in cattle rustling and kidnapping attacked a village in the northeastern state, leaving 10 people dead.

It was gathered that the gunmen, who were on motorcycles invaded onion fields on Saturday outside the village of Kware in the Shinkafi district and shot dead farmers at work.

Although details of the reason for the attack is yet to be known, residents said it could be in reprisal for a recent military operation against the bandits in the area.

Last week troops deployed in the state to fight the criminal gangs raided two of their training camps in north and northwest Nigeria.

Reacting to the incident, Omokri criticised President Buhari, saying that he was able to react to the killings of Muslims in a Mosque in Newzealand while no single headsmen arrested for killing has not been prosecuted.

“Yesterday, the same number of people died in Zamfara as were killed by the terrorist in New Zealand. While it took President @MBuhari hours to condole with NZ, he is yet to even mention Zamfara more than a day after. In fact, he travelled to Senegal after the event!

“President @MBuhari keeps praying for the souls of those killed in the many killings in Nigeria to rest in peace. How can they rest in peace? You refuse to give them justice and you want peace? Not ONE Boko Haram or herdsman tried, convicted and jailed by Buhari’s FG,” he tweeted.
