Reno Omokri leads #BusesForDemocracy campaign ahead of Presidential Election

– Reno Omokri has led a campaign on Twitter titled #BusesForDemocracy ahead of the 2019 Presidential Election

– #BusesForDemocracry is a means to provide free vehicles for Nigerians who will be traveling long distance to participate in the Presidential election on Saturday 

Reno Omokri, a Former Spokesperson under former Pres. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has led the #BusesForDemocracy campaign.

According to reports, the Campaign started yesterday and it is a way Reno Omokri intends to provide free transportation for Nigerians, who will be travelling a long distance to participate in the 2019 Presidential Election this Saturday, 23rd of Feb.

Reno Omokri in his tweet via his Twitter handle made it known that the buses are for free for all voters irrespective of the Presidential candidates they want to vote for on Saturday.

According to report, the bus will involve journey through various routes e.g from Lagos to Abuja, Abuja to Kano, from Enugu to Lagos etc.

The report disclosed that the buses will leave on Thursday and return on Sunday.

However, some Nigerians think other wise of the Free buses as they believe it is a means to get more voters

Sen. Ben Murray Bruce responded to one of the post on Twitter, he said, “If you foolishly think that #BusesForDemocracy is a Dubai Strategy, then you too should come up with your own strategy. How can a free bus ride to anyone who wants to travel to vote IRRESPECTIVE of who they want to vote be your problem? What sort of upside down thinking is that?”
