– Reno Omokri has applauded Pres. Muhammadu Buhari for reappointing CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele for a second time
According to recent update, the Pres. Muhammadu Buhari led government has reappointed Godwin Emefiele for a second tenure as the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
The report was confirmed during the Senate Plenary yesterday, when the letter from the Presidency was read out.
Godwin Emefiele was appointed by the administration of Former Pres. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan after which he worked with Pres. Buhari in his first term in power from 2015.
A former aide to former Pres. Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has applauded President Muhammadu Buhari for reappointing Godwin Emefiele for a second term in office.
Reno Omokri, who is a well known critic of the President disclosed that he would always commend President Muhammadu Buhari whenever he does well.
The former aide in his statement said, “I am a critic of President Muhammadu Buhari because I believe he is inept, and tribalistic. However, when he does well, I must commend him. In nominating Godwin Emefiele for a 2nd term, Buhari showed he is listening and is slowly shedding his clannish nature. For that, I commend him.”
Going by record, this will be the first time since the return of Democracy to the country that anyone would be nominated as the Governor of the Central Bank Of Nigeria to serve two terms.
Also in another report, Mrs. Abike Dabiri Erewa has been appointed as the Chairman of Diaspora Commission, a new feather added to her cap.
As the May 29th Swearing Day moves closer, the President will also make some reappointments and new appointments of his Ministers that will work with him when his second term in office begins.
