Inter Milan have reached an agreement with Manchester United to sign Alexis Sanchez on a loan deal.
Inter who had earlier signed teammate Romelu Lukaku on a permanent deal has been in talks with Manchester United over the future of Sanchez for a long time coming and a breakthrough in negotiations day saw the reaching of an agreement.
The Chilean’s loan is believed to be for 10months and the Nerazzuris do not have an option to buy. Although, they will be poised to pay £175,000 out of his £390,000 weekly salary.
Sanchez is expected to carry out his medicals in Italy on Wednesday. The midfielder joined Manchester United as part of a swap deal with Arsenal that saw Armenia international, Mkhitryan go the other way in the January transfer window of 2018.
However, Sanchez, 30 has failed to make an impact at Old Trafford and has attracted criticisms from football fans most especially those at Manchester United for pocketing huge chunks of money in weekly wages without making any reasonable deliverables.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has remained keen to offload him since he took over at Old Trafford despite having sold Romelu Lukaku to Inter without any replacements.
