Sassuolo star, Domenico Berardi has told Merseyside club and League’s runner-up, Liverpool that they are the only club side he’s willing to play for.
The Sassuolo man said that it was a dream to play for Liverpool as he was eyeing a window to play in the Champions or Europa League.
The Reds have allegedly been linked with Domenico in January 2017 in a three way battle with Juventus and Inter Milan.
The winger has had a fruitful season for Sassuolo with his five assists and nine goals across the Serie A and Copa Ittalia pushing his side to 10th place on the standings with a game to spare.
Berardi has been a one-club man, passing through the ranks at Sassuolo and has made a total of 211 appearances since he made his debut in 2011.
Domenico says if an offer came for him for Milan or any other club he could consider a move away from his present club.
“If an offer arrives, be it from Milan or another club, I will evaluate it with my club.
“And if I hear that it is the right proposal, to be taken on the fly, this time I will say to Sassuolo: ‘I’ll take it”
He said he would however choose Liverpool if he was left with that option.
“Being able to choose, I would play in Liverpool.
“Changing remains difficult for me, but it no longer frightens me, I would do it.”
He however says his priority will be playing for a side where he can be used a lot if not always.
“The next goal is to play in Europe, but at a club where I can be used a lot, if not always. That is my priority.”
The AC Milan target thinks it’s time to prise a move away from Sassuolo and give it another try in a new club.
