Shehu Sani to Sanusi: Don’t Allow Anyone Drag You Into Partisan Politics
A former lawmaker, Shehu Sani has advised the dethroned Emir of Kano, Sanusu Muhammad II not to be allowed to be dragged into partisan politics.
Sani who is a staunch critic of the ruling government pointed that the former Central Bank Governor is already a hero and he should enjoy his rest.

“Dear Sanusi, Rest well in the comfort of your family without the burden & the lice of the turban and the gown; Avoid individuals and groups trying to drag you into partisan politics and avoid being used as a ladder. Its enough being a hero, they should look for a martyr elsewhere,” he tweeted.

Sanusi has returned to Lagos where he wished to be banished to initially according to the Kano state tradition.

He was ordered to be released from confinement by an Abuja Court before being allowed to go back to Abuja where he linked Lagos flight.
