Spain will kickoff their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign with a home game against Norway on Saturday night. The Spanish team are the favourites to top a group which includes the likes of Faroe Islands, Malta, Norway, Sweden and Romania and would be confident of making next year’s competition.
There is no question that there has been an upturn of fortunes for the La Roja. They exited the 2014 World Cup as early as the group stage before being knocked out of the 2018 edition in the round of 16.
This would be the La Roja’s first match in 2019 and their last win which came against Herzegovinia in the latter stages of 2018 was a far from convincing victory for Luis Enrique side.
They have a slight problem in their attack despite boasting lots of experienced players. Centre-back, Sergio Ramos is the highest goal scorer of the squad with 18 goals while forward, Alvaro Morata comes behind with 13 goals.

The Scandinavian nation haven’t qualified for a major competition since as far back as the Euros 2000. They have also not qualified for the finals of a World Cup since the 1998 edition hosted by France.
That said, they will be coming into this game off the back of a four-game unbeaten run with their last loss being a 1-0 loss to Bulgaria.
Unlike their counterparts, they have a high scoring attack line which boasts the likes of Joshua King, Ola Kamara, Elyounoussi and Bjorn Johnsen.
They might be the underdogs coming into this game but that is based on what Spain used to be and the Norway National team will be eyeing an incredible and memorable win in Valencia.
