Supreme Court Judgement: Fani-Kayode Reacts to Buhari’s Aide Write Up Mocking Atiku
Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has expressed his surprise at the article written by a presidential aide, Femi Adesina, allegedly mocking former Vice President Atiku Abubakar for losing his petition against the reelection of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Recall that the Supreme Court dismissed Atiku’s petition for lack of merit.
Fani-Kayode, a staunch critic of Buhari and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has therefore called on Atiku’s media team to react to the article.

“I was amused when I read Pres. Advisor @FemAdesina’s piece this morning in which he mocked @atiku
for losing the presidential election and the case at the Supreme court. If they are still loyal and have the strength and zeal I would humbly suggest that the DG of Atiku’s.
Presidential Campaign Org. or the Director of Media or any of @atiku’s Presidential Campaign spokesmen respond in very strong terms on his behalf to @FemAdesina and the Presidency’s insolence. This ought to be done for the record: they owe their principal that much,” he tweeted.
He also told the presidential aide that he ought to be magnanimous in victory. See his series of tweets on the issue.

“To @FemiAdesina I say this: those that are “victorious” in battle ought to be humble and magnanimous in victory lest they incur God’s wrath & end up losing far more than they won. This is all the more so when that “victory” was stolen. As they say, pride comes before the downfall.”

My brother Femi Falani SAN has suggested that @MBuhari has a third term agenda. He is wrong. There is no “third term agenda” but there is a “northern agenda”. The plan is to ensure that another core northern Muslim from NE or NW takes over from Buhari to finish what he started.
