Tammy Abraham And Fikayo Tomori Earn England Call-up

Chelsea duo of Fikayo Tomori have earned themselves an England call-up following their dominating displays for the Blues this campaign.

Gareth Southgate has penciled down both names ahead of their next set of fixtures but has left Manchester City’s Kyle Walker out once more.

The Three Lions will be taking a trip to the Czech Republic on October 11 before going on another away clash against Bulgaria even as their Euro 2020 qualification set of matches resumes.

Gareth Southgate’s men currently sit atop Group A with 12 points having secured wins in all of their four fixtures.

Abraham who is eligible to play for Nigeria and England has earned himself his first International call-up in two years having found the net seven times in seven appearances for his West Londom side.

Frank Lampard has picked Tammy as his favoured striker ahead of both Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi.

The striker is joined in the 25-man squad team by Fikayo Tomori who walked into Lampard’s team following an injury to Antonio Rudiger.

Mason Mount and Ross Barkley complete the list of Chelsea players who made the squad.

However, there is no place for Kyle Walker who misses out for the second consecutive time in spite of his impressive showing for Pep Guardiola-led Manchester City.

Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard and Tottenham’s Dele Alli also missed out on a place in the squad with both men struggling for form in their respective clubs.
