Tekashi 69 Breaks Instagram Live Records With 2 Million Views As He Defends ‘Snitching’ (Video)

American rapper, Tekashi 69 or 6ix9ine went live on Instagram yesterday in his first live appearance since being released early from prison.

Tekashi69 was sentenced to 2 years in prison in December 2019 after testifying in US federal court about his involvement with Nine Trey Bloods gang and “snitching” on his alleged former fellow members as part of a plea deal to cut down his jail term.

Within seconds, the rapper broke viewing records on Instagram Live with an overall viewership of 2 million. During the live session, Tekashi celebrated his early release which also happened to be his birthday, talked about loyalty and why he “ratted.”

“You live your whole life trying to be a real n***a, trying to be stand up tall loyal guy…If a rat came home like the way I came home and did more numbers than me, I would be mad. You have every reason to be mad,” he said

Tekashi added, “I still came home and I’m a legend at the age of 24 years old because I came home and rat is doing more numbers than you. I would be mad too. I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night.”

He’s currently serving the rest of his two-year sentence on house arrest.
