Tensions In Oshodi Area Of Lagos State As Thugs Invade The Area, Chases Igbo Traders Away
Oshodi in Lagos state is no place to visit at the moment, according to various reports.
iDONSABI gathers that thugs have stormed Oshodi area of Lagos state causing havoc here and there as the results of the just concluded Presidential elections are been collated in the area.
According to reports as well, February 23rd, the day of the Presidential election in Nigeria, Oshodi was violent as thugs prevented a smooth running of the Presidential elections in the area.
A further report has it that the thugs were particular about the tribes of those who came to vote. According to reports reaching us, the thugs prevented the Igbos from coming out in mass to vote for their president but allowed the Hausas and Yoruba’s to vote in the area.

An earlier report had it that MC Oluomo and his boys are presently disturbing and terrorizing Oshodi now and his boys reportedly came with guns, sticks and cutlasses.
Prior to the military men arriving in the area, people around Bolande area were under attack by the thugs. One thing the thugs did was also to prevent Igbo traders from opening their shops in order to commence business for the day.
Close reports have it that Igbo traders had to run for their dear life away from the thugs to their homes.
However, Oshodi area of Lagos state has calmed down since the presence of the heavy military men around the area. The soldiers got to the area in order to calm any form of breakdown of law and order and so far, peace has been restored to the area.
MC Oluomo should be tried in the court of law and be sent to jail, if as a result of the attacks and the igbo people decides to retaliate, can he be responsible for the consequences? Enough of his thuggery and the terrorizing of the masses.
