Tony Tetuila Confirms Suing Wizkid For N30m Over Copyright Infringement (Video)


Nigerian singer, Anthony Olanrewaju Awotoye popularly known as Tony Tetuila, and Ghanaian singer, Tic Tac, have sued Wizkid over copyright infringement.

The duo are demanding over N30 million from him because his song, “Gbese” produced by DJ Tunez, has some lyrics from Tony Tetuila and Tic Tac’s 2004 “Fefe Na Efe” hit song.

They also demand 35% of both digital sales and royalties Wizkid and the producer, DJ Tunez received from the song.

Tony Tetuila wrote an official statement confirming that it’s true they (he and Tic) are suing both Wizkid and DJ Tunez for violating their intellectual property rights.
