Breaking: Another Member of the National Assembly Dies

News filtering in on Friday confirmed the death of another member of the National Assembly. The senator representing the Kware/Wamakko federal constituency of Sokoto State Alh. Abdullahi Wamakko was certified dead at the national hospital after a brief illness. This is the second death in succession among Nigerian senators.

 

Osun Permanent Secretary Hacked to Death along Abuja-Okene Road

The Permanent Secretary, Bureau of General Services, Office of the Governor was on Friday hacked to death on her way to Abuja to attend an inauguration ceremony of the Nigerian Industrial Court. The incident happened along the highly dreaded Abuja- Okene road throwing the civil service in Osun into disarray.

 

Ogun Police Arrest Three Suspects with Human Skulls

 The Ogun State Command of the Nigerian Police on Friday nabbed three suspects who were in possession of human skulls. The three suspects namely: Saibu Popoola, Aliu Ajiroba and Jimoh Ijiola were paraded before pressmen on Friday while detaile emerge of how they must have obtained the human skulls.

Banks to Increase Dollar Sale by 900%

Commercial banks operating in the Federal Republic of Nigeria are set to increase the sales of dollars by 900%. The CBN had previously pegged forex sales at a daily limit of $100 in what has proven to be hell for Nigerians, in particular students outside the country.  With this amendment, daily limit of forex transactions stands at $1000.
