Pastor Asks Women to Choose Husbands during Service

There has been outrage in some quarters following the activities of a famous pastor in Warri, Delta State. Pastor Jeremiah Fufeyin of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministries instructed unmarried women in his church to select husbands from some volunteers in his congregation, an act many have condemned widely.

Police Arrest Five with Incriminating Materials in LG Polls

The Lagos State Police Command on Saturday confirmed the arrest of five suspects with incriminating materials during the Local Government Polls in the state. The suspects were arrested around Ikeja at about 08:30am in the Ikeja area by men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad.

 

Fire Guts Kuje Prison Clinic

There was panic on Friday as fire gutted a section of the Kuje Prison Clinic. Officials of the Nigeria Prisons Service battled for about 15 minutes until they were able to put out the fire.
