Aluu 4: Sergeant, Two Others Get Death Sentence

A Rivers State High Court of Justice has sentenced a police sergeant and two other to prison for murder of four students of the University of Port-Harcout. The incident which occurred in 2012 was greeted by wide condemnation from stakeholders and civil societies and represented a turning point in the fight against jungle justice. Similarly, the court acquitted about four other persons who were earlier indicted.

 

Police Uncover Badoo Shrine, Arrest 51 year Old for Killing Couple

The Nigerian Police have apprehended a 51 year old who is said to be involved in the killing of a couple Mr and Mrs Adejare and their children.
