Again EFCC Loses Fraud Case in Lagos
This is just as President Muhammadu Buhari charged the EFCC to stop losing cases and President Olusegun Obasanjo blamed the EFCC for hiring poor lawyers, the EFCC lost another case in Lagos involving Mr. Grant Samuel. He was said to have converted over 6m belonging to Babatunde Banjo to personal use.

CCT Trial- I’ll Win at Appeal Court- Saraki
The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki has stated that he remains unperturbed by the decision of the FG to appeal his acquittal by the CCT. This he made known on Friday through a statement from his media team. The FG has been at loggerheads with Saraki over a case of false declaration of assets stemming from when he was governor of Kwara State.

FG Appeals Saraki’s Acquittal, Says Unreasonable
The Federal Government on Tuesday file an 11 ground notice of appeal against the June 14 acquittal of the senate president, Bukola Saraki by the Code of Conduct Tribunal. The notice of appeal was signed by the lead prosecuting counsel Mr Rotimi Jacobs, SAN and an assistant chief state counsel.
