I know is coming late i just saw your write-up let me correct your point the Igala culture was never influenced by the yorubas nor the Hausa please do your research well the Igala kingdom is an organised kingdom hundreds of years before the birth of some Hausa kingdoms & Emirates and there is no way the Hausa influenced the Igala culture. Use you IQ compare the Hausa culture with that of the Igala and tell me in what way was it influenced?
You can only say some Igala words are also found in some yoruba words that does not make you to jump into conclusion that the yorubas influenced the Igala culture they never did. The History of Igala is Igala.

    Thank you.

Who ever made up this right up need to do a comprehensive research because I see a lot of non factual narratives here.
Am just going to refer to the most obvious one.
“His saying that Igala tribes are located in lokoja”
That is false, go back to pre kogi state. Let us refer the creation of present kogi state by IBB on the 27th of August,1991.
Lokoja was in then kwara state and ofcourse there was and is an aborigine tribe in existence then and now (that is a discussion for another day). However, the Igala tribe was in Benue state. On an assumption that everyone knows that kogi state came to be with the infusion of a part of benue and a part of kwara [(BenKwa)🙂] .
I try not to get people that are not informed misinformed, so in as much as am well informed on this narrative about Igala being lokoja people, I still consulted the Google to guide my facts, I will advise people to always do the same except your motive for a post is for misinformation purpose.
Secondly, refer to post kogi state as the 3 senatorial district lokoja is not under the east senatorial district of which the Igala tribes belongs so tell me how will anyone put up a write up of such?
Like I said look before you post.
Please note that my comment is for accurate information purposes only and not to cause a divide in the minds of our unique and diverse tribes.
    God bless kogi state.

There is no way yoruba or the so called hausa people influenced the igala tribe and as a matter of fact make sure you carry a good research before concluding where IGALA PEOPLE came from.
