Tuface, MI and others release new song ‘Not For Sale’ ahead of General Election

– Nigerian singers which include Tuface, MI, Chidinma among others have released a new song ‘Not For Sale’ ahead of the 2019 General Election

– The song is an advise to Nigerians not to sell their votes during the election

A new report has made it known that a group of top Nigerian singers have released a new song titled ‘Not For Sale’ ahead of the 2019 General Election.

The singers who made up the new song are ace Nigerian singers Tuface Idibia, MI Abaga and Chidinma Ekile.

They made their voices known in the new song by kicking against vote-buying during  the 2019 general elections.

Another report made it known that other singers like Teni D, Waje, Umar Shareef and Cobhams Asuguo also featured in the hit collaboration.

A report disclosed that the song was directed by Bobby Hai, Paul Gambit shot and edited the video and lead producer Cobhams Asuquo finalized the production .

According to the lyrics of song ‘Not for Sale’ it urged Nigerians not  to sell their votes “because the power to change the nation for the better is in everyone of us.”

The song also discourages the use violence during the electoral process by all stakeholders, especially the voters as they come out to exercise their franchise.
Well, this is not the first time popular singer, Tuface Idibia will be advocating for a better society through his songs.
He had done something similar back in 2015 where he campaigned for a free and fair election with his song titled ‘Vote Not Fight.”
Tuface also has some songs to his name which are advocating for a better leadership and society, some of the songs include ‘For Instance’ and ‘E Be Like Say.’
Nigerians will head to the polling booth for the Presidential Election in the next 15 days.
