- Dabiri-Erewa expresses surprise at the ct of the senator.
Some users of social media Twitter have come hard on the Chairman/CEO Nigerians in Diaspora commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa over her comment on the lawmaker representing Adamawa North senatorial district, Elisha Abbo.
A CCTV recorded Abbo slapping a nursing mother as a sex toy shop in Abuja over an argument while his police orderly watched and later arrested her.

“To think that this PDP guy .was said to have “defeated” one of our most respected female parliamentarians, Senator Binta Masi Garba. The Senate must not protect him. He should be charged. The footage is enough evidence. He deserves to be in Prison.
“I hope the Senate will not protect him. I expect a Senator to move a motion of urgent importance tomorrow,” she wrote on her Twitter handle.
Her comment has made some users called her bias, saying if he is a member of the ruling party, there won’t have been calls for his prosecution.

Madam, with due respect; is this actually about APC vs PDP ??
If @abikedabiri is not handling this by herself, then whosoever the handler is something else. https://t.co/pD4EFBpxtb— Akinyemi Akinleye (@haykay76) July 3, 2019
Madam @abikedabiri do you mean to say the @PoliceNG should only act because Elisha is a senator from PDP, or because he defeated your APC candidate? Abike you’re educated, did you jettison your education for partisan politics, politics of hate, malice and mischief. What a low!
