According to multiple reports, a US air strike has succeeded in causing serious body injury to dreaded ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. The strike, by the US-led coalition force, took place in Al-Ba’aj in northern Iraq.
The town of Al-Ba’aj is one off the few remaining large ISIS base stations in Iraq next to Tal Afar and Mosul .
The devastating strike, which has yet to be independently verified, would come as a huge blow to the dare-devil jihadi group which is already suffering heavy defeat by the allied forces from around the Middle East.
A month ago, the Obama-led United States government had increased the bounty for ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi from $10 million to $25 million.
The big money reward will be handed to anyone who comes forward with information on the whereabouts of the terrorist which leads to his capture or death.
A Facebook and Twitter account belonging to the US Central Command confirmed the reward for Al-Baghdadi’s capture has been increased by a whupping $15 million.
Al-Baghdadi who champions ISIS, now has the same amount of money on his head as bounty as the leader of al-Qaeda, Ayman al-Zawahiri, who has a bounty tag of £20 million.
Al-Baghdadi who is an Iraqi national is said to sleep underground in a suicide vest and is becoming increasingly paranoid, ordering mass executions whilst his gang of terrorist remain under attack from Iraqi and Peshmerga troops.
A week ago, chilling details of Al-Baghdadi’s movements emerged as Iraqi and Kurdish sources confirmed officers were getting leaks from within Mosul from an undercover agent.
It remains unclear, the extent of Al-Baghdadi injuries, however, sources say he is indeed in bad shape and is unlikely to show his face in public anytime soon.
