– His aide Laolu Akande said another interview is being rescheduled

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo SAN was expected to be live on air Today by 3 pm on a TV Programme titled ‘Rubbing Minds’ on Channels Television for a duration of one hour.

Nigerians were eagerly expecting the programme to commence so as to hear what the Vice Pres. has to say on the state of the Nation.

But their expectations were caught short after the programme anchor, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu revealed that the Vice President would no longer be coming.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu made this known via his Twitter handle,

He tweeted: “Due to some matters arising, our proposed guest Prof Osinbajo, will no longer be appearing on #RubbinMinds today.”

Ebuka went on to apologise to the public and hinted that they would be kept abreast of future update.

He tweeted, “Sincere apologies to our viewers. We will keep everyone posted on any future updates.”

Nigerians however took to various medias to express their dissatisfaction over the absence of Vice Pres. Yemi Osinbajo.

However, in a response and means to apologised to disappointed Nigerians, Vice Pres. Yemi Osinbajo via his media aide, Laolu Akande, later gave reason for his absence.

Laolu Akande said that the Vice Pres. was unable to attend the Live Programme owing to the exigencies of campaign timing.

He, however, disclosed that another interview is being rescheduled with the programme organizers.

Sincere apologies that VP Osinbajo cant make ‘Rubbing Minds’ this afternoon on Channels TV.

“Being a live programme, the exigencies of campaign timing make it impossible for VP to appear on the show as scheduled today.

“We’re working with producers to reschedule his participation ASAP,” Akande tweeted.
