Wife Sets Husband’s House Ablaze In Osun State

The Osun State Police Command have arrested a woman, Salamat Kehinde for allegedly setting her husband’s six-bedroom apartment worth N3 million on fire.

The incident occurred on the 18th of March around Adio, Ori Eru in Iwo. The husband, identified as Lamidi Kehinde, alerted the Police about the situation and the suspect, his second wife, Salamat Kehinde was soon arrested.

Wife sets husband’s house ablaze for marrying another wife

In a statement by the Osun State Assistant Police Public Relations Officer, Mustafa Katayeyanjue, he explained that the house and it’s valuables were worth N3 million and the suspect has been arrested.

Mustafa Katayeyanjue said:

One Lamidi Kehinde of Offadio in Ori Eru, Iwo Local Government Area of Osun State, reported that his second wife, Salamat Kehinde, burnt his six-bedroom house with all the property therein valued at about N3m.

“No life was lost. The suspect has been arrested and is being interrogated at the SCIID. The case is under investigation.”

It was reported that the wife allegedly set the house on fire because her husband took another wife.
