#Wike is Trending on Twitter; This Is Why
Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike is now the talking point on Twitter due to the way he has been proactive about the fight against COVID-19.
Rivers state has so far recorded 17 COVID-19 cases with two discharged and two deaths. In order to avoid such case in the state, the governor has been going to the checking points himself to ensure those who tried to enter the state without essential reasons were turned back.
This has made him be getting thumbs up from Twitter users, having condemned some security officials who allowed some people to come into the state in flagrant disregard to the lockdown order.

He had yesternight arrested 14 Persons hidden in two trailers conveying cattle from Adamawa State to Port Harcourt.
According to Wike, the trailers were intercepted following intelligence from well-meaning Nigerians who some them making their way into Port Harcourt.
They were arrested at Rumuigbo in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area. Governor Wike ordered the prosecution of the 14 persons by the Mobile Court constituted by the administration under the Executive Order 6 signed for the declaration of the lockdown.

He also directed the State Ministry of Health to conduct tests on the 14 persons to ascertain their coronavirus status.

I watched a video some days ago of Wike sharing palliatives to Rivers people.
Today, Wike is on the streets ensuring people stay safe and stay at home.
