Wole Soyinka, Shehu Sani, Others Storm Court for Sowore’s Trial

Solidarity for human rights activist, Yele Sowore continues as Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, and former lawmaker, Shehu Sani are at the Abuja High Court in solidarity with the convener of #RevolutionNow Protest.

Sowore’s trial on alleged treason felony resumes today, Wednesday, February 12. His co-defendant, Olawale Bakare, is also facing the same allegation for organising the revolution now protest on August 5, 2019, which the government saw as an attempt to disrupt peace in the country.
