1. Kanye West, Kardashian Expecting Fourth Child via Surrogate

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting their fourth child using a surrogate.

Sources close to the couple are saying the surrogate was pregnant and expected to give birth in May.

Kardashian and West’s third child, Chicago, was born via a surrogate in January 2018. The couple has two other children North, 5, and Saint, 3.

They turned to surrogacy after doctors warned Kardashian of serious health risks if she became pregnant again when she had her first two kids.

2. I Don’t Want to Leave Man UTD – Solskjaer

The United interim manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who is in charge only until the end of the season when he is scheduled to return to his Norwegian club Molde, has won his first four games.

In United’s history, only the legendary and iconic Busby has matched that achievement and Solskjaer celebrated enthusiastically with his club’s travelling supporters after goals from Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford secured the win.

“I don’t want to (leave),” said Solskjaer when asked about his future beyond this season. “It is such a great bunch of players, a fantastic atmosphere. But it is the next game, the next game and I am doing my job for as long as I am here.”

3. Apple Cuts Revenue over Poor Sales Of  iphone in China

As the trade war between China and US continues, in addition to the arrest of a Chinese technology company executive by Canada under the US’ watch, Apple consumers in China have reacted by ditching the US brand.

The company said it expected to bring in about US$84bn during the quarter that ended on Saturday.

“While we anticipated some challenges in key emerging markets, we did not foresee the magnitude of the economic deceleration, particularly in Greater China,” Cook had said in his letter to Apple investors.

Cook also said that the company’s products had not been targeted by the Chinese government, though some consumers may have chosen another brand due to the fact that Apple is an American company.

4. China Makes History by Landing on Far Side of the Moon

China has landed a spacecraft on the far side of the Moon in a world first, according to state-run media. The unmanned Chang’e-4 lander and rover successfully arrived in the Von Karman crater, which is within the South Pole-Aitken Basin, at 10:26 a.m. Beijing time.

After it touched down, the spacecraft took the first photo of what is widely known as the “dark side” of the Moon, and sent it back to Earth.

The Chang’e-4 is tasked with collecting data on the far side of the Moon, including on the structure of its surface, mantle, as well as its minerals. It will also carry out low-frequency astronomical observations because it is shielded from radio interference.

5. Israeli ‘In Shock’ as Trump Says Iran ‘Can Do What They Want’ in Syria

A senior Israeli official on Thursday reportedly criticized US President Donald Trump for appearing to give Iran a pointer to further entrench militarily in Syria.

The US president, on Wednesday, said of Iranian forces in Syria: “They can do what they want there, frankly,” while suggesting Tehran was removing its troops from the country after he removed US troops from the country.

US soldiers had been leading the coalition against the Islamic State terror group, while also helping to thwart the establishment of permanent Iranian military infrastructure in Syria.

Israel has repeatedly warned in recent years that Iran is seeking to establish a military presence in Syria, where it is fighting alongside its Lebanese proxy Hezbollah and Russia to restore the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad.

“I am quite simply in shock,” the source continued. “Trump simply does not know what is happening in Syria and the Iranian entrenchment there.”

6. Netherlands Company Offers Weird Anger Management Therapy

A company in the Netherlands is offering an alternative form of stress and anger management – a car smash up.

Customers are provided with sledgehammers, bats and even golf clubs to take out their frustrations.

But not everyone believes that it is a good way to relieve stress.

7. Bad News as world Cup 2022 Host, Qatar Double Tax on Alcohol

It is a likely bad news for football fans planning to attend the next World Cup games in Qatar.

The conservative Muslim Country stated this week that it had introduced a 100% tax on alcohol.

The so-called “six tax” came into force on Tuesday, weeks after the government announced it would look to introduce a levy on “health-damaging goods”.

With the new levy, a six-pack of beer will now set local drinkers, expats and football fans back more than £20.

8. Walmart Employee Pays Grocery Bill for Woman Who Couldn’t Pay

A walmart cashier is being praised for helping a woman pay for her grocery bill after she started crying at the register because she didn’t have enough money to pay.

John Lopez, 19, of Princeton, Texas, said while working his job as a cashier at the local Walmart on Dec. 17, a woman broke down in tears when she saw her bill total, which was US$110.

“She started crying and I was like, ‘OK, I got you – I got you,’” Lopez had said “I just felt in my heart that the Lord told me I had to help her.”

9. DR Congo Cuts Communications as Vote Counting Continues

The authorities in the Democratic Republic of Congo are clamping down on media and communications as vote counting continues following Sunday’s crucial presidential elections to determine who will succeed incumbent President Joseph Kabila.

On Wednesday government officials withdrew the press accreditation of a French radio journalist Florence Morice from Radio France Internationale, RFI.

Morice was accused of “violating electoral law and the code of good conduct for foreign journalists covering the elections”.

10. UK Police Arrest Two Men for Suspected Migrant Smuggling across Channel

Two men were arrested “on suspicion of arranging the illegal movement of migrants” across the English Channel, Britain’s National Crime Agency has announced on Wednesday.

Officers arrested a 33-year-old Iranian national and a 24-year-old British man in Manchester.

More than 230 people have made the crossing by boat since November — a dangerous feat as the 21-mile wide Channel is one of the world’s busiest shipping lanes.
