Xenophobia: Nigerians on Twitter Condemn Looting in South African Stores
- Some hoodlums used the opportunity to loot inside Shoprite.
- MTN, Pep were also torched by the angry mob.
Some Twitter users have condemned the looting carried out by some youths in Shoprite, in Jakande who pretended to be protesting against xenophobic against Nigerians and other African migrants in the country.
The action which left Policemen that were overwhelmed by the angry mob shoot into the air, leaving one person dead has been condemned by many as some of them noted that those being attacked here are fellow Nigerians working in the South African outfit.
Some South African companies like PEP and MTN were also torched by angry youths who wanted to burn them down in retaliation to attack being carried out on Nigerians in South Africa.

Some countries including Kenya, Rwanda, Congo have canceled their attendance for the Economic Conference that will be starting today in the country due to the attack.
Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage also canceled her travel to the country ahead of a show.
