Xenophobia: Why We Must Nationalise South African in Investment in Nigeria, Fani-Kayode Explains
- Fani-Kayode says the attack is based on hatred not on drug buse as claimed.
- Gbajabiamila promises legal aid to victims in order to claim compensation.
Former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has reiterated his call for the nationalisation of South African businesses in Nigeria over renewed attacks on foreigners and the business in the country.
The Peoples Democratic Party chieftain who pointed that the country is yet to show remorse for the attack on Nigerians and other African nationals also added that Nigeria must cut diplomatic ties with them.
“SA has shown no remorse for her barbarity and offered no apology for her hate. I maintain that we must nationalise their investments and companies, cut diplomatic ties with them, expel their nationals and recall Nigerians that live in SA back home. Bullies only bow to strength!,” he wrote on his Twiter handle.

Fani-Kayode added that the killings has nothing to do with drug trafficking as claimed by some quarters.
“The fact that your people hate Nigerians and enjoy killing us has nothing to do with drug-trafficking. It is because your people are hateful, ignorant, xenophobic, lazy, racist and envious of ours.”

It could be recalled that the Speaker House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila had made a strong a statement yesterday via a press conference on the lawn of the National Assembly that the house of ready to finance Nigerians willing to take up legal matters against the country in order to get compensation.

Reacting to calls on severing ties with the country, Geoffery Onyeama, the minister of Foreign Affairs said it has not gotten to that stage after meeting with the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs to brief them on the progress made so far.
