And just as the numbers increase, the number of candidates who apply to these universities also increases. Basically, the reasons for this is not far fetched. As private universities in Nigeria afford students the opportunity to plan their lives without having any fear of strike or delay in their academic journey. As opposed to federal universities, they guarantee students a fixed period of study and one can actually know one’s graduation date on the day of admission.
Furthermore, Private universities do not give candidates much problem as regard UTME or post UTME. Usually, prospective students just have to write the exam as a formality. As ability to pay school fees guarantee admission for most of these schools.

This academic institution was established in 2007 and is located in Owo, Ondo State.

This university is quite younger than the first two listed. As it was founded in the year 2009. However Afe Babalola University is also well popular.

5. Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo State.

This academic institution is one of the earliest private universities in Nigeria. And was founded in 1999. Actually, the academic institution started as the Adventist college of West Africa in the year 1959. By 1975, the university had signed an agreement with a foreign university – Andrews University, Michigan, USA. So this enabled it to grant graduates a degree from the American university. The Baze University was opened for activities in 2012 in Abuja. The academic institution aims to provide a British standard of education at a much lower rate than going abroad to study. The university is one of the most expensive in the country currently.
