EFCC Allegedly Arrests Rapper, Naira Marley

According to reports, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Nigerian rapper, Afeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley.

The reason for the arrest is not yet known but it is believed to be in relations to the rapper’s new single, ‘Am I a Yahoo Boy’ that dropped few days ago.

Naira Marley has been making waves in recent weeks on social media over his justification of the acts of internet fraudsters, popularly referred to as Yahoo Yahoo.

Naira Marley said that Yahoo boys were only revenging for many years of being slaves to the Whites. This sparked a public outlash from Nigerians across aboard.

It has also led to a heated exchange between Naira Marley and veteran rapper, Ruggedman, who has called him out over his statement.

According to reports, Naira Marley is currently in EFCC custody in Lagos.
