Sociaalmeida critic of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Femi Fani-Kayode has commended Kaduna Nasir El-Rufa’i for taking responsibility for the death of over 50 people killed by arm bandits in Igabi and Giwa Local Government Areas.
In the incident that hap[pened on Sunday, they also burnt cars and other properties as well.
El-Rufa’i during his visit to the scenes admitted that being the chief security officer of the state, he has failed to protect the people.
According to sources, the bandits launched the attacks in revenge against the villagers who they accused of providing information to security agencies.
Fani-Kayode, who is also a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) took to his Twitter page to commend the governor for also saying he won’t negotiate with terrorists.
“Yesterday@Elrufai did two things which gladdened my heart.Firstly he took responsibility &apologised for failing to protect those that were killed by Fulani herdsmen on Sunday.Secondly, he said that he would NOT negotiate with terrorists but rather send them to their maker. Kudos!” he tweeted.
