INEC to present certificate of return to members-elect of the National Assembly on Thursday

– This include the House of Assembly and The Senate
A new statement released by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has made it known that certificate of return will be presented to members-elect of the National Assembly on Thursday, 14th of March, 2019.
According to INEC, the presentation of certificates will take place at Africa Hall, International Conference Center ICC, Abuja.
From the statement released by the electoral commission, the Presentation of awards will be done separately to the two houses in the National Assembly.
Presentation of certificate for senators-elect into the Senate will take place by 10 am while that of Members-elect of the House of Representatives will take place by 2 pm.
The electoral commission made this known via it Social Media handle, it wrote, “Presentation of certificates of return to members-elect of the National Assembly on Thursday 14th March 2019. Venue: Africa Hall, ICC, Abuja Time: 10 am (Senators-elect) 2 pm Members-elect of the House of Representatives-elect)”

INEC made it known that all National Assembly Members-elect must be present with their photo identification card, which include; Permanent Voters Card PVC, Drivers Licence, National Identity Card or International Passport.
The electoral body gave the members-elect permission to come with a maximum of five guest and also the national chairman and national secretary of political parties that sponsored members-elect are also invited.
INEC in a statement said, “All Senators-elect are expected to be seated @ 9:30am and members of the House of Representatives-elect @ 1.30pm. NOTE: Only members-elect as listed on the Commission’s website are invited to the ceremony.”
Members of the press, international and domestic observers who were accredited to the National Collation Center are also invited but must come along with their accreditation tags.
