Morocco Vs Argentina International Friendly 27 March Preview

Argentina will be looking to return to winning ways without their talisman, Lionel Messi, when they lock horns with Morocco in the last official qualifiers before the Copa America.

Morocco

Morocco would be delighted to have made it to the finals of the AFCON competition with one game to spare.

The Atlas lions won the hearts of so many over with their performance at last year’s World Cup. They have finished top of their qualifying group and are now waiting to see who they will be drawn against in the finals.

Herve Renard’s men have now gone seven matches without a loss with the last of those coming in World Cup matches with Portugal and Iran.

Renard will be looking to experiment more with his team to see how best they could work together.

Argentina

The Albiceleste’s friendly against Venezuela may have marked the return of Lionel Messi to the team set-up since their ousting of the World Cup but the game didn’t exactly come out well for Messi and the team in general after falling to a 3-1 defeat.

To add salt to injury, Messi is now out with a groin injury and will consequently play no part in the game against Morocco.

Argentina simply have to put on some show to restore supporter’s faith in them after managing to scrape past group stage in last summer’s World Cup before falling to eventual champions, France.
