Nigerians react as Ondo State Government plans to venture into Cannabis Cultivation

– The Ondo State Gov. Rotimi Akeredolu and the NDLEA boss, Abdallah are currently in Thailand to learn how to grow Cannabis

– Gov. Akeredolu had made it known that Ondo state is the hot bed of Cannabis cultivation in the country and the state intend to tap into it

A latest report released earlier today had made it known that the Ondo state Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu and the National Drug and Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA boss, Abdallah are in Asian country Thailand where they went to learn how to grow cannabis.

In a confirmation of the trip to Thailand, Gov. Rotimi Akeredolu via his Twitter handle declared that Ondo state is the hotbed of Cannabis cultivation in the country.

He said, ” We know how to grow it and it thrives well in the Sunshine state.”

Gov. Akeredolu revealed that Cannabis will have an estimated value of $145 billion come 2025 and it would be a shortchange if the country fails to tap into the legalized marijuana market.

When sowore said we should legalize marijuana they all said he was bluffing, now ondo state govt is taking steps towards cultivating marijuana . Nigeria has a way of silencing the bright ones amongst us & that explains why we are where we still are.
