As Nigerians prepare to exercise their franchise come Feb. 16th which is less than two days away, a new report has made it known that Pres. Muhmmadu Buhari will address the country today by 7 pm.

The statement was released by the president’s spokesperson, Femi Adeshina, who made it known that a rebroadcast of the public address will be made by 9 pm.

The report made it known that the address will be available on state-owned TV and On Air Media, Nigerian Television Authority NTA and Radio Nigeria.

Femi Adeshina in his statement said, “All television, radio stations and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast.”

President Muhammadu Buhari who is the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC will be re-contesting for the second time alongside more than twenty Presidential candidates.

Going by the record with the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, only 73 candidates were registered.

But after some while, some of the Presidential candidates stepped down to support one of Pres. Buhari or Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP.

The likes of Oby Ezekwesili stepped down for a coalition candidate while the Social Democratic Party SDP dropped its presidential candidates, Donald Duke, and Prof. Jerry Gana to endorse Pres. Muhammadu Buhari of the APC.

According to a report, Pres. Muhammadu Buhari will head to Katsina state, where he will carry out his last presidential campaign before heading to his home town Duara to participate in the Presidential Election on Saturday.
