President Buhari says only God can punish the PDP

– Pres. Muhammadu Buhari disclosed that only God can punish the PDP in the fight against corruption

– The Pres. noted that his administration will continue to persecute those proven to be corrupt

Pres. Muhammadu Buhari today met with local and international support group ahead of the 2019 Presidential election at the Presidential villa.

The Pres. in his statement with the various groups talked about the Peoples Democratic Party PDP 16 years administration and how the All Progress Congress APC came in 2015.

President Muhammadu Buhari in his statement spoke about his government fight against corruption.

He said those proven to be corrupt will be persecuted and their properties will be seized and sold.

Pres. Muhammdu Buhari disclosed that the money received from the sales of the properties will be deposited in the national treasury for public use.

He however made it known that only God can punish the PDP.

Pres. Buhari in his statement said, “Large scale abuse of trust, only God can give them punishment but those we can touch, we will get them prosecuted.

“We have said properties confiscated should be sold and the money put into treasury and we will use.”

Pres. Muhammadu Buhari also revealed that when he came to power in 2015, he met with the Gov. of the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN, but he was told there was nothing left in the national treasury despite the high price of crude oil during the PDP administration.

He also spoke on why he visited the neighboring countries when he first came to power, Pres. Buhari disclosed it was to create a working relationships with the countries.

A report made it known that the number of support group leaders that met with the President today were up to 1000.
